Julia's Background
Julia’s passion for interior design has been shaped by a lifelong immersion in art, design, and craftsmanship. Raised in Central Europe in a family deeply rooted in the arts her mother a graduate in Conservation of Fine Art & Graphic Design and a professional arts exhibitions organiser - Julia was surrounded by creativity from an early age. She studied at the School of Arts under the guidance of academic painter Vialiam Potanka, MFA, and Dr. Jozef Novikmec PaedDr. focusing on drawing, painting, sculpting, and ceramics, gaining a strong foundation in classical and applied art. She continued her education at the University of Sheffield, where she earned a degree in Music, specialising in orchestral composition for film and jazz.

Her artistic journey was also nurtured within her wider family: learning design principles from her aunt, an accomplished interior designer, and gaining an appreciation for fine craftsmanship through her uncle’s own bespoke furniture making workshop - designing and building kitchens, bedrooms, and custom furniture pieces. These experiences gave Julia a unique foundation, blending artistry, technical skill, and practical knowledge.

Her love of travel and exposure to contemporary European aesthetics continue to inform her design philosophy, blending sophistication with warmth. Today Julia’s portfolio spans kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. She creates spaces that balance functionality with elegance, tailored to each client’s lifestyle. With a professional background in project management and a track record of successful redesigns, Julia combines creativity with meticulous organisation, delivering interiors that are both inspiring and practical.
