Wellness Room & Home Office

The brief was to create a versatile space that served as a home office, gym, and wellness retreat. Located in a north-west-facing area with limited natural light the room needed a cohesive, calming atmosphere without compromising functionality.

We focused on spatial zoning to maintain floor space for exercise while creating distinct zones: a home office with a standing desk and pegboard wall, a zen wall for a calming focal point, and a gym area with a pull-up frame and workout chalkboard.

A rich dark forest green was chosen for the walls to complement the room's natural light, creating a warm, enveloping feel. Lighter elements like sheer green curtains balanced the depth of the colour. Wooden panelling added warmth and cohesion, while faux greenery brought nature indoors. Task lighting ensured the office area was well-lit for productivity.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can turn a single room into a functional sanctuary for work, exercise, and relaxation.
