Wall Panelling Customisation: How we used it in our recent project

A recent wellness room transformation was beautifully elevated through the use of high-quality wall panelling. The goal was to create a calming, design-led home office and retreat space, with warmth, depth, and acoustic comfort. For this, walnut STRIVO Acoustic Slat Panels from The Panel Company were selected.
Why Wall Panelling Was Chosen
Wall panelling was introduced to bring texture and a modern yet natural element to the room. The dark walnut finish worked perfectly with the overall moody palette, while the acoustic properties added a sense of peace and quiet ideal for both work and relaxation.
The Installation Process
The process was simple and efficient:
The wall space—above and below the window—was carefully measured to determine the panel length required.
The panels were trimmed to size using a fine-toothed wood saw. The STRIVO panel’s design made cutting straightforward and clean.
Two panels were placed side by side, their hidden joints allowing a seamless connection.
A non-solvent adhesive (No More Nails adhesive) was applied directly to the back of the panels.
Each panel was pressed firmly against the wall for several seconds up to a minute until securely bonded.
